Context Map
Important — please read before you start
The Context Map is experimental, unfinished test software, shared for evaluation only. It has not been tested for accuracy or reliability.
- It can be wrong. It may misreport where you are, how far away things are, or which direction they lie in — or it may say nothing at all. Information may be missing, out of date, or simply incorrect.
- It is not a navigation or mobility aid. Do not use it to find your way, cross roads, judge traffic, avoid hazards, or make any decision about your safety or movement. It is not a substitute for your cane, your guide dog, your own orientation and mobility skills, sighted assistance, or proper navigation tools.
- It depends on things that can fail — your device's GPS and compass, your network connection, and map data that may be inaccurate. Accuracy is often poor among buildings, in crowds, or indoors, and the compass can point the wrong way.
- Keep using your usual ways of getting around at all times and stay aware of your surroundings.
