Interactive map
Important — please read before you start
This is experimental, unfinished test software, shared for evaluation only. It has not been tested for accuracy or reliability. It shows what is mapped around a place — visually, by keyboard, by touch, and through a chat you can ask questions.
- It can be wrong. Map features may be missing, misplaced, or out of date; it may misreport where you are, how far away things are, or which direction they lie in; and the chat may answer a question incorrectly or make something up. Silence means “not mapped”, never “not there”.
- It is not a navigation or mobility aid. Do not use it to find your way, cross roads, judge traffic, avoid hazards, or make any decision about your safety or movement. It is not a substitute for your cane, your guide dog, your own orientation and mobility skills, sighted assistance, or proper navigation tools.
- The chat sends your words — typed or spoken — and your location to external services. If you use the Chat, what you type and your current location (when available) are sent over the internet to a third-party AI service to answer you; if you use the Speak button, your voice is streamed live to a third-party speech service to transcribe it. Do not type or say anything you would not want handled that way. The rest of the map talks only to this site.
- It depends on things that can fail — your device's GPS, your network connection, and map data that may be inaccurate. Accuracy is often poor among buildings, in crowds, or indoors.
- Keep using your usual ways of getting around at all times and stay aware of your surroundings.
