Variation-Aware Description

A presentation format for AI-generated image descriptions that aggregates multiple model responses into a single coherent, hierarchical description while highlighting variations inline. When multiple AI models describe the same image, a variation-aware description combines their outputs into organized paragraphs with major variations marked (e.g., "The room contains a bed or an armchair or loveseat"), preserving the detailed content while making disagreements visible. This format supports in-depth exploration of image content and is preferred by users who want comprehensive detail, though some find it lengthy. It is ranked as the second-most preferred format after variation summaries by BLV users.
