AI Verification
Also known as: Accessible AI Verification, AI Output Verification
The process of checking and confirming the accuracy of AI-generated output, particularly by end users who may not have visual access to the original content. For blind users, AI verification is challenging because they cannot visually compare AI output against source material. Strategies include cross-referencing with prior knowledge, using multiple applications, requesting the AI to prove its answer, and incorporating additional descriptors or confidence indicators. Designing accessible AI verification remains an underexplored area in both accessibility and AI research.
