Context-Aware Computing
Also known as: Context Awareness, Situational Awareness Computing
Computing systems that can sense and adapt their behavior based on the user's current context, including location, activity, environment, and task state. In accessibility, context-aware systems go beyond static information delivery to provide real-time, situation-appropriate feedback. For example, a context-aware cooking assistant can track which recipe step a user is on and provide relevant guidance rather than simply reading instructions linearly, adapting to the actual state of the physical environment.
