Motion Tracking
Also known as: Motion Capture, MoCap, Body Tracking
Technology that records and analyses the movement of people or objects in real time, typically using cameras, sensors, or wearable devices to capture position, orientation, and velocity data. In accessibility applications, motion tracking enables systems to compare a user's body position against a reference (such as a teacher's pose) and provide real-time corrective feedback through audio, haptic, or visual channels. Systems range from professional-grade optical tracking (e.g., Vicon) to consumer depth cameras and wearable inertial sensors.
