Older Adults
Also known as: Seniors, Elderly, Aging Population, Senior Citizens
People typically aged 65 and above who may experience age-related changes in vision, hearing, motor control, and cognition that affect how they interact with technology. Designing for older adults requires attention to larger text sizes, higher contrast, simplified navigation, tolerance for slower interaction speeds, and alternative input methods. Older adults represent a growing user demographic whose needs overlap significantly with broader accessibility requirements.
