Machine Teaching

Also known as: Interactive Machine Teaching

A paradigm in human-computer interaction where non-expert users guide the training of machine learning models through interactive feedback, such as providing examples, labels, or corrections. Unlike traditional machine learning where data scientists prepare datasets and tune models, machine teaching shifts the focus to the teacher (end user) and how to make the teaching process intuitive and effective. In accessibility, machine teaching enables people with disabilities to customize AI tools to their specific needs without requiring technical machine learning expertise.
