Communities of Practice
Also known as: CoP
Groups of people who share a concern or passion for something they do and learn how to do it better through regular interaction. In accessibility, communities of practice form around shared experiences of navigating barriers, developing workarounds, creating accessible tools, and sharing knowledge. These communities often bridge gaps left by formal education and technology providers, contributing "invisible labour" that makes products more accessible.
