OpenDyslexic

Also known as: Open Dyslexic

A free, open-source typeface specifically designed to improve readability for people with dyslexia. The font uses heavier bottom portions on letters to help prevent visual rotation and uses unique letter shapes to reduce confusion between similar characters. However, eye-tracking research has shown that OpenDyslexic does not significantly outperform well-designed standard fonts like Arial, Helvetica, or Verdana for reading speed or accuracy, though some users report subjective preference for it.
