Cloud Accessibility
Also known as: Cloud-Based Accessibility
The use of cloud computing technologies to deliver, manage, and personalize accessibility features and assistive technologies. Cloud accessibility enables users to store their accessibility preferences remotely and have them applied automatically to any device or platform they encounter, eliminating the need to manually configure each system. This approach can lower the cost of developing and deploying accessibility solutions by pooling resources, enabling cross-platform compatibility, and allowing instant personalization. The Global Public Inclusive Infrastructure (GPII) is a prominent example of cloud accessibility infrastructure.
