QUEST

Also known as: Quebec User Evaluation of Satisfaction with Assistive Technology

A standardised outcome measure designed to evaluate a person's satisfaction with their assistive technology device and the services related to it. QUEST 2.0 consists of 12 items rated on a five-point satisfaction scale, covering eight device-related items (dimensions, weight, ease of adjustment, safety, durability, ease of use, comfort, and effectiveness) and four service-related items (service delivery, repairs, professional services, and follow-up). It is widely used in rehabilitation research and clinical practice to assess whether assistive technology meets user needs, and provides both quantitative scores and qualitative data through open-ended questions about the most important satisfaction factors.
