SlowKeys
Also known as: Slow Keys
An accessibility feature that requires a key to be held down for a specified minimum duration before the keypress is accepted by the system. SlowKeys helps users with motor disabilities who frequently make accidental keystrokes by brushing against keys or pressing keys unintentionally during hand movements across the keyboard. By requiring a deliberate, sustained press, SlowKeys filters out brief accidental touches while accepting intentional input. The acceptance delay can typically be adjusted to suit individual users' needs. SlowKeys is usually implemented as part of the FilterKeys accessibility settings in operating systems.
