Music GenAI
Also known as: Generative Music AI, AI Music Generation
Generative AI systems that produce musical output — melodies, full songs, instrumental accompaniment, or vocal tracks — from text prompts, seed audio, or structured parameters. Examples include Suno, Udio, MusicLM, and MusicGen. In accessibility and therapy contexts, music GenAI lowers barriers to musical creation for people without composition training, including deaf and hard-of-hearing users who can collaborate with the system through text and visualizations rather than through auditory evaluation. Challenges include limited fine-grained control, inconsistent alignment with intended emotional tone, and copyright and attribution concerns around training data.
