ADHD Rating Scale
Also known as: ADHD-RS, ADHD-RS-IV
A standardised assessment tool based on DSM diagnostic criteria for evaluating the frequency and severity of ADHD symptoms in children and adolescents. Completed by parents or teachers, it measures inattentive and hyperactive-impulsive symptom clusters. In digital health and serious games research, the ADHD-RS is commonly used as a primary outcome measure to evaluate the behavioural impact of technology-based interventions, with a Minimum Clinically Important Difference (MCID) threshold of approximately 5 points.
